煙草在線據(jù)法新社報(bào)道編譯　　捷克媒體稱，捷克共和國(guó)正在考慮在餐館全面禁煙，此舉將使該國(guó)與許多歐盟國(guó)家看齊。

　　“我們將提出法律的新版本，是至今為止最嚴(yán)厲的——在餐館內(nèi)全面禁煙。”《民眾日?qǐng)?bào)》（Lidovenoviny）引述衛(wèi)生部副部長(zhǎng)馬丁·普利斯克的話說。

　　根據(jù)現(xiàn)行法律，餐館可以自由決定是否允許在餐館內(nèi)抽煙。

　　對(duì)違法者處以高額罰款，新的法規(guī)還將在非露天的啤酒花園里禁煙，但是容許在露天的啤酒花園抽煙。

　　捷克新聞社援引布拉格的查爾斯大學(xué)5月份的一份調(diào)查顯示，78%的捷克公民支持全面禁煙。

　　普利斯科稱，該禁令將于2013年8月生效。

　　捷克共和國(guó)在延遲了8年后，于今年6月成為最后一個(gè)簽署世界衛(wèi)生組織《煙草控制框架公約》的歐盟成員國(guó)。

　　根據(jù)近期歐盟公布的調(diào)查顯示，在捷克共和國(guó)，一個(gè)在2004年加入歐盟的擁有1050萬人口的前共產(chǎn)主義國(guó)家，十分之三超過15歲的人都是吸煙者。

　　在捷克15-18歲人口中，吸煙者占40%。

Czech Republic: Czechs Mull Blanket Ban on Smoking

　　Prague - The Czech Republic is contemplating a blanket ban on smoking in restaurants, a step that would put the country on par with many of its EU peers, Czech media reported.

　　"We will submit a new version of the law, the toughest ever here - a complete ban on smoking in restaurants," the Lidove noviny broadsheet quoted deputy health minister Martin Plisek as saying.

　　Under the current law, restaurants are free to decide whether to permit smoking inside.

　　Slapping hefty fines on offenders, the new proposal would also ban smoking in beer gardens with a roof but tolerate smoking in roofless ones.

　　The CTK news agency quoted a May survey by Prague-based Charles University, which showed 78% of Czechs were in favour of a complete ban on smoking.

　　Plisek said the ban could take effect in August 2013.

　　The Czech Republic ratified the World Health Organisation's convention on tobacco control in June as the last EU member country, after eight years of delays.

　　In the Czech Republic, an ex-communist country of 10.5 million which joined the EU in 2004, three in ten people older than 15 years are smokers, according to a recently published EU survey.

　　Among Czechs aged 15-18 years, smokers make up 40%. Enditem
